How it works

Yearly cost = days × weeks (48 working weeks assumed) × (distance ÷ MPG × price + parking). Fuel is only part of it; the IRS business mileage rate (around 70¢/mile in 2025) gives a sense of the full per-mile cost including wear and depreciation.
